RESEARCH SUMMARY
My time as an undergraduate researcher greatly shaped my current research interest, learning that I am particularly adept in invertebrate animal care and cnidarian biology, developing an acute affinity to Nematostella vectensis. As a Stowers research scholar it was important to me to continue working with these organisms, getting involved and developing projects that encompass the use of molecular biology techniques to answer questions about this model organism’s overall anatomy, ontogenetic development, and behavior.
