Research Summary
I studied regeneration in Hydra in my undergraduate degree by exploring the molecular relationship between apoptosis and regeneration. In studying this in my undergraduate education, I became interested in molecular biology and wanted to pursue that as a career. In the Gibson lab, I am studying how Nematostella vectensis produces different nematocyst morphologies with postdoctoral researcher Anna Klompen
