Research Interest: I worked four years in industry before I joined Halfmann Lab in July of 2018. I am amazed by the diverse strategies that viruses employed for their amplification. Specifically, I am interested in how viral proteins exploit prion-like behavior or phase separation to facilitate viral replication, super infection exclusion and immune evasion.  

Outside of lab: I am a big fan of yoga and badminton. I feel these two exercises complement each other perfectly. I have a puppy named Yogi. I hope one day he can stop biting my yoga mat andpractice yoga with me.
