I was born in France. After two years at university studying Biology, I decide to go further in genetics with the program Magistére Européen de Génétique of Université Paris Diderot. That program allowed me to take an internship in Spain in The Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovascularesi in the Silvia Martin-Puig Lab, where I spent three months studying the migration of heart progenitors during hypoxia. Then I wanted to do an internship in selfish genes. The reading of the selfish gene from Richard Dawkins changed my vision of genetics dogma. I joined the Zanders lab for a five-month internship to work on how meiotic drivers can rapidly evolve while maintaining poison-antidote specificity.
